A Little Something About Me
The first photograph I took was when I was about six years old. My mother, who loved to take photographs of us kids growing up, handed me her Polaroid Land camera. She showed me the shutter button then sat on a kitchen chair. She looked over the back of the chair at me. Her hair was pinned up with a bath towel wrapped around her. I looked through the camera to frame the photo and snapped the shutter. After the 60 second wait for the image to develop, I peeled off the backing and saw this beautiful photo of my mother ... that I took. I was hooked!
For a while I became separated from photography. When I bought my first smart phone, I started taking photographs when out walking in the woods. Remembering how much I loved photography and was definitely missing it, I bought a new digital camera with more bells and whistles than I bargained for! I joined a camera club that provided me the motivation to learn my craft and now I am pursuing photography as new career.
My favorite things I love to photograph are friends, family, landscapes, reflections, nature and anything else that catches my eye!
