Flowers always put a smile on my face. Since I got back into photography and joined a camera club, I have photographed more flowers and better photographs of the flowers. When I joined the camera club the President said “After a year you will be a better photographer.” That turned out to be so true!

This beautiful yellow flower is an African Daisy. This is another Home Depot find. I planted several of these flowers in different colors in my garden and photographed them as they bloomed. This flower was shot using my macro lens while I was sitting on the ground. Which worked out great with the beautiful colors in the background from the other flowers.

I looked at this photo a lot when I processed it in my photo software. There was something needed that wasn’t there. While processing my photo, I added the water reflection at the bottom and realized that was what was missing.
